Last Friday saw the first, of what I hope will be many, Programmatic Foundations training mornings take place. At the fabulous Ziferblat in Manchester a mix of agency practitioners, client side marketers, and publishers come together to learn a little more about programmatic technology and how it is shaping the future of advertising.
Using a session I have developed in recent weeks I took them through the fundamental principles of programmatic, the technology involved, and some of the pitfalls it can present when not implemented correctly. Throw in some audience participation, a time pressured quiz, and a planning exercise and we had ourselves a really engaging and hopefully informative morning.
The attendees were great. Everybody asked questions, chipped in with their own experience, and threw themselves into the exercise with vigour.
And given this was the first time running the session, the feedback has been great. With all participants answering positively to the question which outlined the main aim of the morning.
I hope to run the session again soon. And am also making it available to marketing teams from advertisers to be delivered on-site at their offices. If you would like to discuss how this could work for you then get in touch and let’s talks further.
